Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal a stunning view into forest that begins just steps from immense wrap-around juniper deck. Hardwood interiors, skylights, vaulted ceilings. A sparkling new “Kids’ Bunkhouse” sleeps 2-3 and adjoins the deck near the bedrooms, decorated with “kid décor.”

The house is 1 block from the beach in the secluded community of Tierra Del Mar (halfway between Tillamook and Lincoln City and due west of Portland). Location on little-known coastal road shelters this nook of the coast from the hordes of beach-seekers.

Within walking distance along the beach is a beautiful estuary; nesting area for countless sea birds and home to everything from herons and eagles to seals and foxes. At the other end of the beach is the rarely visited north side of majestic Cape Kiwanda. Awe-inspiring rock formations and punchbowl, tidepools, and an unbroken dune that descends from the top of the cape; for the price of a mouthful of sand, experience a wonderful roll down the dune from top to bottom!
