A warm cozy home best describes this Seaside Oregon property. We recently completed the remodeling of the whole house. The marble and granite counter tops throughout the house and the hardwood floors in the living room make it even more comfortable. The river rock gas fireplace adds to the warm atmosphere with spectacular unobstructed panoramic ocean views out every window for storm watchers and migrating whale followers. Being right on the famous Promenade allows you to watch the surfers and the passers-by as well.
The home has recently been remodeled with new furnishings to make it even more enjoyable. The bathrooms were totally remodeled and even have heated floors. The kitchen was completely remodeled and has tiled floors, new counter tops, as well as other amenities. We remodeled the upstairs with a new trundle bed and other furnishings. We totally remodeled the basement with new flooring, a gas fireplace and mounted the 50" flat screen HDTV on the wall for all those sports enthusiasts and movie watchers.
With five bedrooms, two baths and a "Man Cave" retro bar, a large group can enjoy the 50" TV or one of the other features such as the rock fireplace, foosball table, the deck or the enclosed front yard.
This home has all of the amenities you might need from WIFI, DVD/VHS players to XM Satellite or cable. In the spring of 2010 we added XM Satellite surround sound throughout the house as well as outside on the patio. There is an IPOD/MP station as well. We of course have a washer/dryer, telephone, BBQ (both propane and briquet), coffee and ice makers, etc. A portable crib and high chair are also available. Please bring the bedding for the crib as it is not provided.
We recently began managing the property ourselves and have very competitive prices. In the fall, winter and spring you should be able to get some great deals. For the past twelve years this home has been booked solid from June 15th thru Sept. 15th. We suggest you reserve early as our home books quickly with repeat vacationers in the summer.
Wheelchair Accessible~ There is only one small flight of stairs to overcome and the inside of the house is easy to navigate. My nephew, who is in a wheelchair 24/7, loves to come down. Also provide an adult portable potty chair.
You can watch the surfers out of any window; 15 minute walk to the turnaround and shopping. Golf course is four blocks away. Local grocery store and pub within 3 blocks.
50" HDTV in the basement with a retro-bar and gas fireplace; home also has 2 more TV's; foosball table; WIFI; gas fireplaces in Man Cave and on main floor; washer/dryer, ice maker, toaster, vhs/cd/dvd players; and much more.
