The Gearhart Ocean Inn is a small, meticulously restored, old-fashioned motel, built by two brothers from an original Gearhart pioneer family. It has served coastal travelers since 1941. The Inn has been lovingly restored with your comfort in mind. Guests tell us it reminds them of the light and airy Cape Cod properties of New England.

Walk into a cozy living area with a pair of comfortable sofas with hassocks or wide upholstered easy chairs. Each unit is painted in soft hues with white period bead board and driftwood mirrors. The TV/DVD players and stereos are discreetly tucked in armoires or in custom made cabinets. The Suites have a small dining area and full, well stocked kitchens with vintage wallpaper to match the period. The Studios have a small dining table and chairs and efficiency kitchens with coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators. All units offer beverage service with locally roasted Sleepy Monk coffee, tea, hot chocolate and microwaveable popcorn.
