If you prefer sitting and gazing for whales all day from your own cozy chair… the Depoe Bay area has many oceanfront vacation rentals to choose from… from romantic little getaways to large family accommodations.  Depoe Bay and the surrounding towns of Lincoln Beach, Gleneden Beach and Otter Rock have vacation rentals that provide a great opportunity to do just that… imagine whale watching from your own home away from home! Many vacation rentals  are stocked with binoculars, but you might want to pack some just in case.

Whether you stay on the shore with binoculars… or board a whale watching charter boat, once you see these awesome creatures blow their spout or take a dive…  you will never forget it!
