YouTube Preview Image The month of September can still bring plenty of dry and beautiful weather to the Oregon and Washington Coast. Many annual events and farmers markets continue outdoors through mid October. Book a vacation rental getaway and enjoy the beach while the crowds have slowed during back to school activities. Here are a few September events to enjoy this year along the Oregon Coast…

Seaside Wheels N Waves Car Show ~ Thurs Sept 5 – Sun 8. Featuring unique builder and street cars from 1962 and older. Bring your cameras and walking shoes! Thursday begins with a Coastline Polker Run and Senior Cruise, Friday includes Hot Rod Hats and Hawaiian Shirts, Show & Shine and a Downtown Beach Party with live music. Saturday starts at 7am with a Broadway Cruise In, Vendor Alley and Treasure Hunt. Sunday wraps it up with a Car Corral (registered vehicles for sale) Awards Presentation and Seabuck Auction. Depoe Bay 58th Annual Indian Style Salmon Bake ~ Sat Sept 21. Enjoy a succulent salmon meal, great performances and music. Over 2,000 pounds of salmon is slow roasted to perfection on alder stakes, just as the native Americans did 2000 years ago. Watch as native Americans perform their traditional dance and song. Bandon Cranberry Festival ~  Fri Sept 13 – Sun 15. This year marks the 67th year of this fun filled event including a cranberry court coronation, parade, live music, cranberry eating contest, cranberry products, artisan wares and more! FMI: Bandon Chamber of Commerce or call 541-347-9616

Gold Beach Brew & Art Festival ~ Sat Sept 7. Known at THE place to sample micro brews and craft brews of every color and flavor, enjoy great food and music on two stages, a classic car show, plus check out new art & artisan wares.
