Biking~ Whether you’re looking for leisurely rides in the country or you’re ready to charge up a mountain, Pacific City is a great area for bike riding.  You may use the bicycles in the garage or you can rent them from the Inn at Cape Kiwanda.  Mountain bikes are available hourly, half day or full day adventures.  Check out the bike paths through Shorepine Village!

Surfing~ If you’ve never surfed in Pacific City before you’re missing out! There are three fantastic surf shops in Pacific City to check out too.

Horseback Rides on the Beach~ Come see the beautiful Oregon coastline, enjoy the rugged dunes and sea wildlife—birds, deer, elk, seals and occasionally a whale all on horseback!

Hiking~  There are many hiking trails to explore within our county.  Stop by the office to pick up a copy of some of the hiking trails that are recommended for seeing some great wildlife and some excellent views.  Don’t forget to visit one of the highest waterfalls on the North Oregon Coast.  About 15 miles from Pacific City, off of hwy 101 (about 6 miles outside of Tillamook), is Munson Creek Falls County Park.  It’s absolutely breathtaking 2 mile round trip hike: a relatively easy hike for the whole family. 

Fishing~ in Pacific City doesn’t get better than this! Salmon & Steelhead drift boat trips! Have an amazing day in the water with a full day of guided trips! Salmon season is September through December and May through June Steelhead season is December through April

You can bring your bike, canoe, kayak or motor boat. You can go horseback riding. For off road vehicles, you can go to nearby Sandlake Recreation Area. It has dunes the size of mountains! If you don’t own an off road vehicle, no problem… you can rent one!
