The Northern Oregon Coast is a popular destination for Portlanders, as these beaches are all within a 2hr drive. Vacation rentals are popular lodging choices in Seaside, Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Rockaway, Oceanside and Pacific City. The North Oregon Coast region begins in Astoria where the Columbia River flows into the Pacific Ocean and ends at Neskowin, where Slab Creek empties into the Pacific.

Astoria is a nationally significant historic town with a hillside of beautiful Victorian homes overlooking the Columbia River. It’s rich with maritime and cultural history destinations; museums, art galleries and shopping. Lodging consists mostly of B&B Inns and Hotels.

Seaside is just a 90 minute drive from Portland, it’s known as the Northwest’s most popular ocean resort for over a decade. Seaside is bustling with activities for kids of all ages! Lodging includes a great section of Seaside vacation rentals large enough for family and friends. Just north of Seaside, you’ll find the quiet destination of Gearhart, famous for Gearhart Golf Links.

Cannon Beach offers beautiful world class travel amenities with coastal charm. Known for its’ sea stack, Haystack Rock, which is a 235 foot monolith overlooking the Pacific. Miles of wide sandy publicly owned beaches make Cannon Beach is one of the Pacific Northwest’s most user-friendly stretches of coastline.

Manzanita is a quiet coastal village with miles of soft sandy beach, specialty cafes, a golf course and eclectic shopping. It’s located between two beautiful state parks, Oswald West and Nehalem Bay State Park.

Rockaway Beach has 7 miles of flat sandy beach with easy beach access. This family friendly town offers many oceanfront vacation rentals amongst its low lying dunes, with plenty of dining and shopping for all.

Oceanside is located 11 miles west of Tillamook. This small sleepy village is all about views and relaxation… Nestled on a hillside cove, Oceanside boasts gorgeous ocean views from most all of its vacation rentals with just a short walk to the beach. Netarts Bay is “next door” offering plentiful seafood/fishing opportunities and beautiful beachfront vacation rentals.
Pacific City… known as “Your Little Beach Town” offers oceanfront dining at the Pelican Pub & Brewery, surfing, kayaking, biking & sand dune fun! Pacific City vacation rentals are scattered along the beach many offering views of Cape Kiwanda and Haystack Rock. Neskowin is located approximately 10 miles south, offering beachfront rentals with gorgeous ocean views.
