Scenic Waldport, Oregon is a choice location for vacation rentals on the central Oregon coast. Waldport is located midway between the Washington and California borders. Enjoy your stay in a beach house in this largely undiscovered area "where the forest meets the sea." Explore the sandy beaches and coves for driftwood, sea shells, and agates.

Alsea Bay is a popular destination for boating and fishing as well as being one of the premier crabbing bays on the Oregon coast. The river and bay provides freshwater and saltwater fishing. Alsea Bay is rated by the Oregon State Marine Board as one of the top 5 for annual usage. There are hundreds of campsites within a few miles of the bay.

25 miles south of Waldport, you can visit the well known Sea Lion Caves. Or you can travel north to Newport and visit their two historic lighthouses. Other attractions in Waldport include theAlsea Bay Bridge Interpretive Center, Crestview Hills Golf Course, Elwood Gallery and the Waldport Historical Center.

Enjoy shopping in the Antique Stores or dine in one of the areas fine restaurants.

The Historic Alsea Bay Bridge Interpretive Center is located in Waldport. This was built by the Oregon Department of Transportation with help from the Waldport Chamber of Commerce. Learn about the bridge on one of the daily tours that are given by a park naturalist.
