Our charming 2-bedroom cottage is located in the quiet historic neighborhood of Seaview, WA - a mile south of Long Beach and a short walk from the beach. It has been our family vacation home since it was built in 1898 and we are excited to share our tradition with you.

We have tried to preserve its historic, rustic charm while providing modern amenities: high speed wireless internet, a flat panel LCD TV with a DVD player, and a sound system for your IPOD.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a futon in the living room (sleeps a max of 6 guests). Furry family members are also welcome with a $10 per pet/per night ($40 minimum fee) with a maximum of 2 dogs.

The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies (including a coffee grinder and French press) and SID's Market is only a block away. The cottage has a wood-stove with a glass door, electric space heaters, & plenty of blankets for chilly nights on the coast.

From Camp Hungry it is a block to the sand dunes & the trail through the dunes to the beach is about 1/4 mile long. There is also street access to the beach less than a mile to the north or south of the cottage.

There are many other local activities to check out: museums, forts, lighthouses, trails, downtown Long Beach, fishing ports & oyster bays - check out our "What to do in Long Beach" page or visit the Long Beach Visitor's Bureau for more information.

We thoroughly hope that you enjoy your stay at Camp Hungry & the Long Beach Peninsula!

"Off the beaten path, yet walking distance to the beach and to area restaurants. Perfect size for a couple or a small family."

"The house is really cute and has good common spaces. Our main issue with the house was the horrendous mosquito problem. With some of the windows not closing properly, and having to unlock the house from the back, we were absolutely eaten alive."

"If you are looking for a cozy place to stay for a few days you may want to look elsewhere. The house overall is more like a cabin. It took a while for it to warm up once we got there but there were several space heaters. They was a mention of more firewood in the woodshed but we found it empty which was a bit disappointing. The parking Or really just the grass out front and it was rainy while we were there so it got a bit muddy. The beds were quite comfortable which kind of surprised me. Overall I just wasn't impressed with the cabin and wish we would have stayed somewhere a little nicer."

"Camp Hungry was a nice little old house, would probably be great for spring -Fall. Our January stay was very cold at night as the house is old and doesn't have much insulating it. The wood stove was great, but once the fire goes out the heater doesn't quite keep the front bedroom warm enough. Be prepared for chilly nights. Fortunately Vacasa has provided lots of space heaters. Also, fair warning that if you stay during the winter months the walking path to the beach may very well be flooded. Otherwise lots of fun!"

"Nice little house in a quiet neighborhood. One can hear the ocean in the distance but it's a couple of blocks to an access to a beautiful, paved beachside trail. House itself is cozy but wood supply is nearly gone and the wood stove needs some maintenance. I was looking for some silence and solitude and was pleased that this place fit my vibe. Thanks for a nice stay..."
