We absolutely love this house. It’s perfect for my husband and me plus our two sweet dogs. We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years but when they added the hot tub a couple of years ago, it really elevated this home. Just a few steps to the beach, and a short stroll to Cape Kiwanda, the Pelican Brewery, Ben and Jeff’s Tacos, wonderful bakery, and sweet little grocery store. Fun to watch the dories and the surfers launch and land from the wide and picturesque sandy beach. We already have reservations to come back to Beachlovers Getaway in July and after that, I know we will be renting this house a couple of times every year until we are lucky enough to buy something in Pacific City, the most charming beach town in Oregon. —by Kristin Rein

This is my favorite beach in Oregon. Just enough amenities, but not too crowded because there are only a handful of restaurants and markets. If you come to the beach, you come to the beach. I love the Shorepine Village homes because they are well maintained, NOT directly on the beach, but rather behind a dune. Homes have everything you need to stay and enjoy the beach, which is why you come to the beach. —by Michele Houck
