Whale watching from December to January: People can watch whales out of two points of interest in Rockaway Beach. These are Neahkahnie Mountain and Cape Meares. They both offer spectacular views of the coastline, which is excellent for whale watching. Whale watching from Rockaway Beach is an unforgettable experience. It's a fantastic sight to see these massive creatures swimming in the ocean!

Fishing at Lake Lytle:  Lake Lytle is a small lake in Rockaway Beach. It's excellent for fishing because it has an abundance of trout and bass fish. The lake is stocked with trout every year, so there's always a chance to catch a big one. Bass fish are also plentiful in the lake, so you're almost guaranteed to reel in a good-sized fish. The Lake Lytle Fishing Dock is a great place to start if you're new to fishing. It's easy to access and has plenty of room for people and gear. If you're looking for a more challenging fishing spot, try the rocky cliffs on the east side of the lake. You'll have to cast your line from some precarious positions, but the rewards can be great.

Biking at the Rockaway Beach Trail: The Rockaway Beach Trail is a popular biking destination that stretches from the southern end of town to Cascade Head. The trail has two separate parts, one for hikers and people on foot or skates and one specifically made for bikers.
