Casa Pacific is an amazing five bedroom, oceanfront Arch Cape vacation home with a beautiful interior, one-of-a-kind decorative tilework throughout, and a great location for exploring the whole Northern Oregon Coast.

Perfect for a family vacation, couples traveling together, or a group of friends taking a retreat to the shore, you can't get closer to the water. Beach access is right outside - from the back deck you'll actually feel the spray from the crashing waves! Bring your favorite furry friends with you to this pet-friendly home.

A bit further away from your oceanfront palace, it's only a six mile drive north to Cannon Beach, a mecca of art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, and unique stores. For an afternoon treat, stop by Sleepy Monk Coffee House for caffe mochas topped with chocolate whipped cream. Dinner options are plenty with Newmans at 988, Irish Table, and Sweet Basil's Cafe as standout choices. The nearby cities of Gearhart and Astoria to the north and Manzanita to the south offer even more fun exploration opportunities.

A Spanish-influenced interior includes red clay floor tiles, exposed ceiling beams, an oversized wood burning fireplace with a lovely tile design, and beautiful, ornate wood furniture. A large, pillowy sectional sofa has seating for all in your group. Sit, socialize, and watch the waves roll in through the large, floor-to-ceiling windows.

Nearby table seating plentiful, with spots for 10 around a large dining room table, and smaller tables set about the dining room - perfect for kids or small groups that want to share a quick snack. From this area there are also many windows from which to watch the Pacific Ocean. Dinners will become lengthy, boisterous affairs with plates of good food, wine, and interesting conversation. With a fire in the background to keep it all cozy, you'll never want to get up from the table and call it an evening.

The galley-style kitchen has breakfast bar seating, as well as appliances, gadgets and everything you need to prepare meals for a large group. Aside from the many indoor seating options, the deck is a great choice for morning coffee or even a glass of wine in the evening. In winter, there's no better spot than to watch the waves from the cozy interior. You'll have a front row seat for some epic storm watching!

Four bedrooms are located on the first floor and feature queen sized beds, comfortable bedding, stylish, antique style dressers, framed artwork, and pleasing outdoor views. There'll be no fighting over bedrooms here as all are quite charming and nicely appointed.

A unique spiral staircase leads upstairs to a large loft area with a large flat screen TV, DVD player and cable. Sofas provide seating for a movie night - all you need to do is decide what to watch and pop the popcorn!

Also upstairs is the fifth bedroom with a king sized bed and large windows framing a wonderful view of the ocean! Slanting ceilings give this room extra character. There's no better spot to relax and just gaze out at the waves. Three bathrooms are conveniently placed throughout the house and all feature more tile and ceramic art. This house will sleep a maximum of 12 guests and their furry friends (dogs and cats!) for a $10 per pet, per day fee ($40 minimum per stay). Other amenities include a washer and dryer and WiFi.

Just like having your own oceanfront lodge, you'll love spending time out on your private deck. Pack a lunch for a picnic on the beach and if you forget anything, you're only steps away from the house! Once down the sand, beach comb, fly a kite, build a sand castle - the possibilities are endless!

For an escape to the Oregon Coast that you won't soon forget, Casa Pacifica is the ultimate Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental right on the beach!

Local Attractions:
Set between an ideal location between Hug Point State Park and Oswald West State Park, if you feel the urge to leave your own little backyard beach, you'll have two very scenic nearby options. Hug Point offers beach access, a seasonal waterfall, sandstone cliffs and tide pools brimming with ocean creatures. Oswald stretches out for four miles and includes rain forest, beach, and breathtaking views of the ocean.

Location is unbeatable, the view is spectacular, and you hear the waves crashing in every room. It's spacious with plenty of bedrooms, mattresses were great and linens all top notch. The best thing is the great room, there's loads of comfortable seating with all glass facing the water, huge dining table with room for everyone, very well-equipped and functional kitchen. It's a charming, old-school beach house, very clean, and unfussy stylish decor. Perfectly suited to our big family - all ages plus dog. Great location for visiting Cannon Beach, Nehalem, Manzanita. We saw a big herd of elk between the houses and were blown away. Well stocked with board games and puzzles, great stereo speakers, wood-burning fireplace works well. Fantastic trip, highly recommend, we would rent again. —Elizabeth M.

Love this home! This is our third year we have rented it. It is foot steps to the ocean. At night, the ocean gently lulls you to sleep. They have added a new refrigerator and laundry machines. They are improving it, and I highly support the upgrades. —jaymee d.

Large home with good layout for preparing and eating meals while taking in the ocean front views. Upper level entertainment area and main level can create separation for larger families who want a separate kids area. Comfortable beds and furniture, well decorated, and a new hot tub on the deck to take in the sunsets. Very Relaxing and pet friendly! —Nathan S.

First of all ... location location location! We loved the location and the beautiful gem of a beach. Definitely lower key than Cannon beach but equally if not - dare I say - more beautiful. The house's location is pretty center so you can easily walk to both North and "South rock formations where tide pools and caves abound at low tide. Really stunning! The houses main room was a delight to be in. Comfortable for many or a few. Personally I loved having the TV on the upper level. All of the beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and was easy to serve our crew from the bar top. I would definitely recommend and stay again! It was a fantastic family vacation!" —Ann W.

"I walked up and down the beach and decided to look at all the other houses and this one I would say is the best one located in Arch Cape. It has an amazing view of the ocean all full of windows which I noticed not many of the other houses have." —Devon Z.

"Loved the home. It was very clean. The oven seemed small but fit a 24 pound turkey fairly well. Perfectly beautiful location with amazing views. The home needs some upgrades but that wouldn't keep us from staying here again." —Holly B.

"We stayed at Casa Pacifica last year as well and liked it so much that we knew then that we would stay there again this year. First of all, the location is perfect: right on the beach. Also, there is plenty of room: There were 8 of us-- 5 adults, 3 toddlers, and a dog--and it never felt cramped. Also, all the tile work is lovely. The fireplace is great. The only reason that we won't be coming back next year is for the best reason of all: we are building our own beach house at Arch Cape, which will be ready in just a few months. We love Arch Cape." —Mark And Laurie E.

"My family and I just got back from Casa Pacifica. There were eight of us and two dogs. Our children are grown and have moved out, so we decided to start a tradition of renting a house and spending time together.
We loved this place! The beach was right out the back door and the huge widows that looked out over the beach were amazing!
The kitchen, dining room and living room was large and easily accommodated all of us. The dining room table easily sits 10 and the coffee table was large next to a wrap around couch. We played games in both areas.
This place was so comfortable and with tile floors we did not have to worry about tracking sand and dirt in like you would if you had carpet.
Everything we needed was there. There were flash lights, wood for the fire place, and ax, and a grill. If you needed rain boots...there were some in the closet!
If you're looking for a fancy place...this is not it. If you want a place to hang out with your friends and family that is comfortable and feels like home, then this is it!
Plus a bonus was being able to bring our dog!" —Don G.

"Amazing location right on the beach - so close it seems the high tide will be in the Living Room. The Great Room has a wall of windows with a world-class view - it is truly stunning, and that makes it worth the price of admission.

The house itself is showing its age, and is not fancy by any means; yet it is plenty comfortable. In some ways it is even more comfortable in it's lack of fancy - you don't worry too much when you are there because the terracotta tile floors, plastic laminate counters and cabinets, and well worn surfaces would be hard to damage accidentally.

There are 5 (!) bedrooms, which is fantastic. It is hard to find a place that can accommodate so many adults at once. There are additional less-formal sleeping options for the young. Unlike some beach houses, this house is remarkable in that the interior doesn't smell musty or damp in the least.

One lucky couple will get the upstairs bedroom - the bed is pushed right up to a wall of windows looking out at the beach. Amazing view right from the bed, and not really a privacy issue.

Lighting is not the best in the Great Room (flickery and not distributed) and Kitchen (garishly bright blue-white). Nothing over the dining table. Bring some candles?

Beach is only sandy at low tides. Rock cobbles make up the upper part of the beach - not conducive to long strolls. Nice to walk at low tide though.

In summary the location and view make this all worth while. A bit expensive, but you'll be blown away by the view and enjoy your stay." —Hunter W.
