Reviews

"Comfortable cabin with decks on east and west sides and a fine view across the south end of East Sound. There's a short trail (not for the frail or unsure of foot) to an excellent beach in the Cove just to the north of the house." June 2017

"Natural, Private Escape! The view is spectacular, and the beach access to a private cove is a real treat for kids and adults. If you want to be away from it all, this is the place.
Two caveats: You probably should have an all-wheel drive vehicle- getting up the steep gravel driveway was challenging for our mini-van. Also, the dated nature of the cabin may not be to everyone's taste." July 2017

Dear Guest - Thank you for choosing to stay with us on your visit to the Islands. Karemar Cove is one of our most unique properties. The views are gorgeous but the cabin as you note is more classic island, than modern or contemporary. That said many people enjoy the rustic island experience! We hope you will return again and give us an opportunity to show you other properties that may offer more of what you are looking to experience. Best, General Manager

"A Wonderful, Private Getaway - We've returned to Karemar Cove many times. We love its character as a real family home, with a real family's history on display. We love the warm wood interiors and the view of East Sound from the deck. But most of all we love the privacy: watching sunrises from the bluff below the house; sitting on the private beach; looking at the Milky Way on clear nights, cozying up to a good book in the evenings.

Karemar Cove is excellent for families. Our kids were 12 and 8 when we first came, and they had a lot of fun on that beach! The interior is very nice, but old enough so that you can be comfortable putting your feet up. We look forward to many future visits." Sept 2017
