If you’re wishing for time to watch the ocean crash on rock, pelicans and seabirds fish and whales roll through the swell, Gardner Family House’s upstairs unit will give you the perfect perch over the south shore of Depoe Bay.

You can overlook boats braving the surge and surf as they motor in and out of Depoe Bay harbor. The kelp beds just off your backyard are attractive to seals, birds and the occasional whale, and you’re likely to see lots of spouting from whales around and beyond the bay.
