Looking for a way to enjoy the splendor of the Pacific away from the crowds? This lovely, sunlit home puts you on a sandy spit between the Nestucca River and miles of quiet sandy beach-walking at the edge of Bob Straub State Park, a huge stretch of beach that encompasses the mouth of the river.

You can walk for miles on pristine beach, enjoying seabirds, wildlife and ocean breezes. It’s also easy enough to walk in the other direction and catch the lively scene at Cape Kiwanda, the home of Haystack Rock, the Pelican Pub, a surfing and tide-pooling beach and a sand dune that the kids won’t be able to resist.

But I think we figured it out. The bedroom with the en-suites bed frame definitely needs some tightening. But everything else was excellent, thank you for the fun little amenities of shampoos and soaps. We did replace a couple of your kitchen things, but they were small and it was worth it.
