Tucked away on the coveted Presidential streets, this cottage is perfect for small families, couples, girls' getaways, outdoor enthusiasts, business travelers, small groups of friends, and discriminating guests.
The comfortable, coastal-modern living room might coax you into an afternoon nap, with its new sectional sofa complete with fluffy throw blankets & pillows. There is a full-size Murphy bed in the living room.
A beautiful river stone hearth with a stately hardwood mantle adds a romantic ambiance. Mounted above the gas fireplace is a Smart RokuTV. Unwind here to stream your favorite shows and movies, or play family board games on rainy days.
The oversized windows in the living room bring in natural coastal sunlight. The living room has a welcoming organic style of natural materials; stone, wood, woven textures, organic fibers, and coastal hues of driftwood, seagrass, navy, Aegean blue, and sea glass green.
Kitchen & Dining:
Begin your day with coffee at the breakfast bar, as fog lifts from the coastline, unveiling Haystack Rock and Needles. Traveling with littles? Prepare scrumptious waffles on the waffle iron. After early morning tidal pool exploration and/or boutique shopping, grab takeout from a downtown restaurant, then stroll back home for a round of drinks and alfresco lunch on the deck. This alfresco dining table offers seating for four.
This fully-equipped chef’s kitchen has crisp white custom cabinets and plenty of space for all your necessities. Luxe appliances include a full-size fridge, gas range, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, trash compactor, and a farmhouse-style sink.

This Pacific Northwest coastal paradise has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bedrooms have new, top-of-the-line mattresses, luxurious linens, premium pillows, sheets, and blankets, closets with built-in shelving and hangers, nightstands with reading lamps, ceiling fans, soothing, warm earth tones, and organic decor, conducive to restful sleep.

The house offers two full relaxing bathrooms. Both are stocked with fresh towels, essential toiletries, and hairdryers, so you don't have to worry about bringing your own. The primary has an en-suite bathroom with an over-size, single-sink granite vanity, a beautiful skylight that brightens the space with natural light, a glass-door tub/shower combo, and an attached laundry room with a washer and dryer. Bathroom #2 has a double-sink vanity, and tub/shower combo.
This cottage is located on the ground floor. There are full time tenants in the cottage above Puffin Nest.
The fenced yard has a lush privacy buffer of coastal grasses and native pines. Side yard decor of vintage fishing nets and sun-faded buoys adds charm and coastal character. The sunny front deck offers a BBQ grill, and an alfresco dining table with seating for four, shaded by a large umbrella.
This is a great place to dine on fresh seafood, picnic sandwiches, or take out from any of the countless downtown restaurants. It’s also a great spot to relax in the evening; enjoy a cocktail, and witness sunsets and fresh seaside air, fragrant with wildflowers and lavender.
This home has a safe, private driveway with space to park two cars. Located in a safe, quiet area of Presidential Street’s Neighborhood, this cottage is perfectly situated a 5 min walk to the beach and a quick 10 min stroll to downtown.
Stroll 5 minutes to feel sand on your feet, and dip your toes in the majestic Pacific Ocean. A 10 minute walk takes you downtown to the picturesque village. Strict building and zoning regulations have limited the infiltration of large chain stores or restaurants here. Thus, Cannon Beach retains its unique character and homey, small-town charm.

Cannon Beach is known for its beautiful parks, beach, and family-friendly atmosphere. Puffin Nest is close to Les Shirley Park. One hidden treasure is the Cannon Beach Nature Trail, which reveals another side of Cannon Beach, with a boardwalk through wetlands, a trail through a beautiful Spruce forest, and serene creekside views. Elk, river otters, and many birds make this a wonderful trek for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
Puffin Nest vacation rental was named in honor of the Tufted Puffins who arrive for nesting at Haystack Rock through mid-summer. The Cannon Beach area is renowned as a bird watching destination! Seabirds arrive for nesting in April. Colonies of Common Murres appear on Bird Rocks off the north end of Cannon Beach. Look for Buffleheads, Mergansers, and other waterfowl in Ecola Creek or the 2nd Street lagoons during fall and winter.

Spring is wildflower season on the Oregon Coast. Trillium bloom in the rainforest in March, then Wood Violet and Bleeding Hearts. Spot Wild Iris and Coast Paintbrush in meadows.
Searching for rainy day arts & culture indoor activities? Check out the Cannon Beach History Center and Museum. They offer exhibits, lectures, field trips and walking tours. Coaster Theater, an historic playhouse, is also close to this property. Various art galleries provide artistic inspiration and shopping opportunities. Cannon Beach is also celebrated as a whale watching destination. An estimated 18,000 Gray Whales migrate offshore between mid-March and mid-April, from mid-December to mid-January. It’s the longest migration of any mammal on Earth. During the peak of each migration, volunteers are available at Ecola State Park, helping visitors spot whales during the coast-wide Whale Watching program.
In early fall, herds of majestic Roosevelt Elk emerge from the forest shadows and can be seen grazing in meadows or walking through the edges of town. Early mornings and dusk are the best times to spot elk. There is no shortage of natural beauty, wildlife, outdoor activities, delicious cuisine, and arts and culture in Cannon Beach.
