Oregon Coast Spring Whale Watch Week

Each spring, gray whales migrate north along the Oregon coast, and Whale Watch Week helps you spot them. Trained volunteers stand at scenic lookouts up and down the coast to help visitors catch the telltale spout and fluke of these gentle giants.

It's a free, family-friendly, and awe-inspiring way to connect with one of nature's great journeys. Volunteers are stationed at prime viewing spots all along the coast, so wherever you're staying, there's likely a lookout nearby. Bring binoculars, dress warmly, and witness the migration up close.
