One of the biggest volunteer beach cleanups on the south Washington coast, Operation Shore Patrol rallies locals and visitors near Westport to comb the sand and haul away what the tides leave behind. It's a decades-strong tradition that keeps these beautiful beaches wild, clean, and ready for the next adventurer.

Bring gloves and good energy, meet the neighbors, and give the coastline a little love. There's something deeply satisfying about leaving a beach better than you found it — and it's a great way to feel connected to the shoreline you came to enjoy.
