Astoria honors its rich Nordic heritage at the Scandinavian Mid-Summer Festival, one of the north Oregon coast's most colorful traditions. Enjoy folk dancing, traditional foods, a maypole, and the crowning of Miss Scandinavia in this historic river town settled by Nordic immigrants.

It's a joyful, culture-rich celebration of the coast's Scandinavian roots. Astoria's Victorian streets, maritime museum, and the towering Astoria Column offer plenty to explore around the festivities — a vibrant, history-filled coastal getaway at the mouth of the Columbia.
