“Next to the Pacific Ocean This is a comfortable and interesting property, built in the 1930s as military officer’s accommodation. In the 1950s it was moved with the other cottages to its current site and updated. It has been further updated since but with an eye to the charm of 1950s design. Whilst basic and small it has been well planned and is well presented. A good size for 2 but a squeeze for 3. Comfortable bed (but not sofa bed, which was really disappointing), good shower and lots of plates, cutlery and pans. A lovely walk to the beach and you are next to the Pacific Ocean and the tree carved with the name of William Clarke at the end of his 19 century expedition of discovery with Lewis. Interesting state park within 10 minutes drive and a couple of lighthouses.”

“We will definitely be staying again! My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to the beach with our two small children for some clam digging. Anchorage Cottages was the perfect spot for our little family.They had a clam cleaning room on the property that was also equipped with beach toys and games for us to enjoy free of charge.There is a scenic trail located behind the cottages that takes you right to the beach.The check in process is super convenient- you do everything from your phone, same with the check out process. We will definitely be staying again!”
