Kraken Bay

“Close to both beaches, & to the downtown We came to Long Beach for a clam dig wkend. The home was close to both beaches, & to the downtown district (20 min). dining table sat 6-8, the seating in family room was good but we suggest another couch/love seat in the sitting area would be great to watch the sunrise (had to move a few chairs to accommodate). The beds are great for family’s with kids upstairs. The trundles were small for two tall adults… the two king beds were fine except the footboard corners are shin breakers. With the very limited space around the beds, both my husband and two of our guests raked their shins and legs on them. OUCH! The home is lovely, we liked the theme (Kracken) and how clean the bathrooms were. The travel sized shampoos/conditioners were a nice touch. Plenty of towels and dog beds too! Thank you !! We enjoyed your space. Even saw the raccoon family - your next door neighbor says he feeds them and the deer- made their debate all three afternoons.”

“Plenty of bedding and cozy throw blankets Beautiful home, plenty of bedding and cozy throw blankets. We stayed during a storm and it was still an incredible view. The host was responsive and helpful during our stay. The house was perfect for our family, the kids always had something to do between the board games, the toys, and the pac man and foosball table. The candy machine was also a nice touch. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals (bowls, pots and pans, etc). We had a great stay here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.”

“This location was beautiful This location was beautiful, and the house was so cozy and easy to relax in! The immediate scenery of looking out on the bay from a recliner and watching birds while reading makes me want to go back. It's not walkable, but local adventures in town or on the beach are easily accessible with just a 10 minute car ride. Highly recommend checking out the Ofuro soaking pool at the Snowpeak campgroup. The kitchen had most of what we needed for cleaning and cooking after digging up razor clams, just missed having a cast iron skillet for fritters!”
