Bloomer Mansion

“Loved the hidden playroom and the theatre The house was large, clean and very accommodating. We stayed as a family of 15 and there was a tonne of space and lots to do, everyone had a great time. The rooms are private and all large and beds were comfortable. We had a few minor issues but communication was made from the company fairly quickly. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need, one thing i noted is it said it had fridges with ice and water but its not connected to water so bring your own ice. Couple small things to note unless repaired, the pool table wasn't maintained well so it was hard to use, the board games are very scattered and missing tonnes of pieces, id suggest to bring your own. The bbq ignite was also broken and there was nothing in the house to light it.. You also need to bring your own firewood, there's lots in the area it's just not cheap. Overall we had a great stay at the mansion. My kids loved the hidden playroom and the theatre was lots of fun for our family.”

“Private trail to the beach Our extended family spent 3 nights here and loved our stay. The location is perfect! The private trail to the beach was nice (although there were many mosquitos) but it was also close and easy to walk (or drive) on the road to the beach. We had fun exploring the historic mansion with all it's unique spaces. The hot tub and fire pit were enjoyed by all!”

“One gem of a place This is one gem of a place. lot of vintage artifacts throughout the house. has lots of toys for kids and game room / theatre was enough for adults. We had multiple bear sightings too from the living room window too :) There were couple of machines e.g. one pinball, dart machine not working which is completely expected. Only area of improvement will be some cleanliness in outdoor area of the house. Patio furniture has layers of dust and took lot of time to clean. I informed the staff but may be due to long weekend, no one came. Similarly there are lot of ants and spider webs near hot tube and the bathroom near hot tub. Otherwise its a real good place to stay with lot of things to do for everyone and location is also very good.”

“Had the best time staying here This house is amazing. My family had the best time staying here. Would highly recommend this house for large family gathering. So much to keep everyone occupied and entertained.”

“Everyone wants to come back My friends and I do a winter weekend trip every year. This was the first place we've stayed were everyone wants to come back again next year. All 11 of us loved it and had a great time. Having 2 fridges with so many adults made it so much easier for us to prepare our own meals when we weren't doing group meals.”

“No one was bored! We had a wonderful time at the Bloomer Mansion! It was the perfect place for a big family celebration with tons of fun activities for a range of ages, no one was bored! The walk through the woods to the beach was beautiful. We also enjoyed a nice stroll to downtown Long Beach and otherwise had a blast with the movie room, toys for little ones, and lovely hot tub. The vintage details and design of the house were a constant enjoyment!”
