There are few better ways to experience the central Oregon coast than over a plate of fresh Dungeness crab in the tiny town of Yachats. Hosted by the local Lions Club, this beloved community feed pairs just-caught crab with all the fixings, friendly faces, and the easygoing charm that makes Yachats a favorite coastal stop.

It's a fundraiser, a tradition, and a genuinely great meal all at once — the kind of local event that turns a weekend getaway into a memory. Pair the feast with a walk on the 804 Trail, some tide-pooling, and a sunset over the water for a perfect central-coast day.
