Honoring Coos Bay's legendary native son, the Prefontaine Memorial Run draws runners to challenge the same roads Steve Prefontaine once trained on. Take on this iconic 10K along the south-central Oregon coast, feel the inspiring history, and celebrate one of America's greatest distance runners.

It's a moving tradition for runners and fans alike. Coos Bay proudly honors "Pre" with this annual event, and the course captures the spirit of his hometown. Combine the run with a visit to the dunes, gardens, and beaches of Oregon's Bay Area for a memorable coastal weekend.
