Zelda and Steven… your hosts

We are long-term Pacific Northwest lovers. I bought my first place in Mendocino, California and the downstairs was rented full-time to a long-term tenant. I had long wanted to make it a vacation rental so I can block it off for friends, family and guests.

Port Orford Oregon is a place I used to visit a lot and wind surf at Flores Lake. I wanted a place that I could stay at. It is a duplex and I have preserved the downstairs for a vacation rental after renting it long-term for quite some time.

Our home in Hiouchi is one I bought 23 ago and couldn’t bear it to let it go. I rented it long-term. When the last tenant moved out, we decided it was time to make it a vacation rental. It is across the street from the beautiful wild and scenic designated Smith River and very close to old growth redwoods.

I am retired from CDF as a wildland firefighter. Steven is retired from being a heavy equipment operator. Once operating the largest dump truck there is; the triple 7. This piece of equipment takes two stories of steps to get into the cab!
