Check-in & check-out

Check-in is typically 3 o’clock check out is 11 o’clock… I say typically because if nobody is checking in or out and you do like an early check-in or a late checkout, this is easily granted. However, if we have someone checking in, it’s really important to check out on time. Please ask if this is the case. Our homes are in rural areas and it’s easy to think it doesn’t matter - I assure you it does.

House rules

Please be respectful of our property. We tend to offer a lot in the home. Anything you see is yours to use we visit our homes. Also we cook and live laugh and play there. We have a shoes off policy - we provide slippers for your use. This just makes for cleaner homes in general. I actually gathered that habit when I lived in Japan as a child. I find many many people do it because it’s just cleaner in your house - think about when you step into a public bathroom, how sticky the floor is, that’s what you bring in your house. Our homes are also in rural areas and you will bring in lots of forest or garden debris. It’s just nicer to leave it outside. Please turn off all lights and turn down or off heaters when not in use and for sure when you leave… I do realize radiant heaters may be on low (or to your comfort level) all the time and that’s totally fine.

Cancellation policy

Our cancellation is flexible we understand things happen… It is often hard to schedule a vacation so far ahead and then something pops up in life. Life happens. I live with my 98-year-old father. I started out caretaking both my parents in 2019 and I would always look for a 24 hour cancellation because life happens… I understand

Pet policy

We allow canine animals. We love dogs. There is a pet policy. You will see listed in the home and there’s also a small pet fee to take care of the extra cleaning the Housekeepers have to do.
