Perched above the Pacific Ocean and the mouth of the Alsea River, Cliff House brings you stunning views of forest, sea and the historic Alsea Bay Bridge from its ocean-lodge setting. Beautifully and thoughtfully remodeled for your vacation pleasure, Cliff House has five serene bedroom suites for privacy and comfort, making an excellent retreat space for your family, friends or business associates.

Hardwood flooring, and wood-lined walls bring grounded warmth and authenticity to the great room’s soaring ceiling and multiple picture windows opening to the sea. The turquoise blue accents in the dining room and kitchen echo the ocean’s brilliance out the doors to the expansive, wind-screened deck. Fully equipped for your cooking adventures, the kitchen features a double oven and six-burner induction range, stainless appliances, and a granite-topped sink and breakfast bar island.

You’ll happily retreat to skylit, ocean-view bedrooms with modern, spa-like baths at the end of the day. Outdoors, soak in a bubbling hot tub, walk to the beach from nearby access, stay cozy and enjoy a drink while watching the sunset from the heated, ocean-view gazebo, or stroll the grounds admiring the panorama of coastal hills, tidal bay, arching bridge and endless ocean.

This home's location puts you minutes from the dining, shopping, and maritime delights of Waldport and Newport and close to incredible hiking, fishing, tide-pooling, and beaches, Cliff House is an excellent launchpad to Central Coast adventures. You’ll find this gorgeous home a rejuvenating, refreshing retreat you’ll want to return to again and again.

Things to See & Do

Local Attractions:
The soaring Alsea Bay Bridge takes you over vast expanses of sand and the Alsea River estuary as you enter Waldport from the north. The bridge is a 1990s replacement of a historic Conde McCullough bridge from the 1930s—the visitor center on the town side of the bridge tells the fascinating engineering story. Waldport is easy to explore on foot, but you might want to partake of two unique modes of transportation: a free bike rental from Green Bike Co-op or a kayak excursion with the student-run Kayak Shack. Crunch a crusty baguette from Pacific Sourdough Bakery as you browse the antique and tourist shops along the bay front, dig in the sand for clams or enjoy a round of golf at Crestview Golf Club. Soaring vistas of sea, sand and sky are ever-present however you decide to spend a day at Waldport. You’ll find everything from golf to lighthouses to museums within a half hour of your door; the award-winning Oregon Coast Aquarium is just 20 minutes north.
