Neighborhood:
Tierra Del Mar is a small community of homes 3 miles north of Pacific City on Sandlake Road. Tierra Del Mar is on the Three Cape Scenic Route, off of Hwy 101. The low bank tranquil beach has views from Haystack Rock to Cape Lookout. This is a favorite place for locals and visitors alike.

This home is pet friendly for one or two dogs. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night . Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended.
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.
The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.
Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

We spent Christmas at the Dune Grass Cottage and had a lovely stay. The home is cozy but well laid out for the 4 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed for holiday cooking and easy access to the beach made us forget that we were not beachfront. Our first time at Dune Grass Cottage was lovely. A nicely updated and decorated home a short walk over the dune to the beach. Very comfortable and quiet. Private patio for barbequing and sunbathing. Didn't use the wood-burning fireplace as the weather was warm, but would definitely consider coming in the fall when it could be used. This cottage was perfect for our family vacation. Everything was just as pictured. The location in a private, quiet corner just steps from the beach and a short drive from Pacific City was ideal. My only suggestions for improvement was the toilet in the main bathroom had a weak flush (worked, but weakly). We would stay here again if we return to the Oregon coast. —Carolyn
