"We have stayed at Ocean Escape 6 times over the past 10 years and each visit was comfortable and relaxing. We especially appreciate the improvements including the demolition of the decrepit carport, the rip rap steps to the beach, the reinforcement of the decking on the south side and (finally) the clean windows on the patio. The house is clearly one of the oldest on that stretch of the beach frontage but still retains uniquely rustic charm. Because of its proximity to Newport and other appealing sites we will definitely return again. Meredith Lodging has added a sense of modern class to the whole renting experience.
