The Piot House is Oceanfront in a private neighborhood, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and miles of sandy beach, in Seal Rock. Warm rustic wood accents are brightened by the walls of windows along the whole western side of the home!
So, your first step into the home.....visually takes you 'right back out' to amazing views of the Ocean, and Seal Rock! This is such a comfortable, cozy home away from home. Very private; once you pull into the drive, you don't see anything but the ocean!
The kitchen and dining area are great for entertaining, and the living room is a small step down from the rest of the home, hosts a wood stove, and has a slider out to a large covered deck, which can be great when there is the weather here!
The master bedroom is quite large and has a wonderful soaking tub in the bathroom. The guest bedroom is on the opposite of home, next to the guest bathroom for privacy.
Wonderful for two couples, family, romantic vacation! Some of our regular guests have been returning here for over 16 years! It is definitely a favorite!

As you drive south of Newport, a collection of huge offshore rocks, including the imposing Elephant Rock, will loom into view. You’re in the seaside village of Seal Rock, a five-mile stretch of sandy, rocky and sea-stack-studded beach. A resort location since the 1880’s, Seal Rock has uncrowded beaches, awe-inspiring off-shore rock formations, a fascinating geologic history and exciting bird and wildlife sites. Explore tide pools when the waves go out or watch crashing surf during a storm. Collect clams or mussels for dinner or enjoy the galleries, glassblowing and tasty treats on an afternoon stop along this accessible and spectacular stretch of beach.

We loved the Piot House. Beautiful views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. We watched whales moving north one night and seals very close to the shore. We would definitely stay here again. House needs some updates, however, that did not affect the enjoyment of the trip. —Pamela R.

This house was a fantastic little find! It couldn’t be more well situated. It was perfect for games, family dinners, enjoying the Seabreeze and all the area has to do! The beach was private and we were able to walk and walk and walk without seeing anyone else. We were there every morning as the light was coming up over the horizon and every night as the sun was setting. I would give this house at five out of five. This Seal Rock house provided us a good base for our short 3 day visit to the Emerald Coast. We enjoyed Newport and the uncrowded beaches. Watching ocean sunsets from the deck was a great way to relax at the end of each day. —John S.

This house was perfect for our visit. The view from the house and patio were amazing and the quick staircase to the beach was perfect. There are great tide pools within easy walking distance and the neighborhood was very quiet. The patio was private and provided a break from the wind on the beach. The only bad thing about this rental house is that you won't want to leave at the end of the week! The PIOT house sits on a quiet lot overlooking the ocean. We are not usually "sit on the beach" type people but two days in a row we only went out to eat a meal and then hurried back to paradise. We found it an easy commute to Waldport or Newport. When we couldn't figure out the overhead track lights and needed a few supplies, Meredith sent someone right out to the house. —Barb E.
