Within five minutes from downtown and the beach, this adorable two-bed/one-bath home offers the best of both worlds—the perfect quiet location to explore the area from the most charming and cozy cottage. Guests will even be able to enjoy a peek-a-boo ocean view from the welcoming front porch.

The Space
Red Door Cottage elicits a serene English-country style that is chic, inviting, and peaceful. The coastal cottage theme throughout the space is expertly curated with exquisite decor. The muted color palette is soothing and neutral with carefully chosen botanical and seaside-inspired accents. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by lovingly maintained flower gardens around the deck and side of the house. This beautifully decorated seaside home is the ideal escape for a couple, small family, or a gals weekend getaway.

The main living room offers abundant seating, including a couch and multiple recliners, that create a cozy, welcoming space. Complete with a gas fireplace and large flatscreen wall-mount TV, the room is complimented with wood floors, vaulted white plank ceilings with skylights, and dreamy coastal decor elements. With plenty of natural light, this relaxing room invites you to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book.

Just off the living room is a hardwood dining table, comfortably seating four. Visitors will surely want to sit down and share a meal after the gourmet chef's kitchen inspires them. The fully outfitted kitchen provides all the amenities; over-sized farmhouse sink, granite counter-tops, a six-burner gas range with a hood and double oven, a French-door fridge with drawer freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, and all of the dinnerware and cooking utensils needed for easy meal prep. There is a laundry room off the kitchen with a washer and dryer.

The cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The primary bedroom has a comfy bed with luxury linens and an elegant antique chandelier over the bed for a warm glow. A wall-mount TV, hanging closet, custom window treatments, and tasteful furniture round out this stunning room. The second bedroom is also a stylish refuge, sure to provide guests with a restful night's sleep in a plush queen bed, quality linens, and a calming neutral color palette.

The cottage has one spacious full bathroom offering a shower/tub combo, a single-sink vanity, top-notch quality towels, and a keyed lock box for guests' valuables.

Step outside to enjoy the botanical oasis. The sunny front deck, flanked by ferns and flowers, has a charming seating area- the ideal place to sip a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the ocean. Guests can also dine alfresco at the patio table for four. Follow the stone path through the raised flower beds to the private fenced back deck with relaxed chaise lounges.


The Neighborhood
Tucked into the desirable Presidential Streets of Cannon Beach, Red Door Cottage is a perfect walkable location to enjoy the area. Take an early morning walk down to the beach, only five minutes from the cottage, and visit the local puffins. Head south on the shoreline to take in the iconic Haystack Rock. Stroll into town for boutique shopping, art galleries, and eateries ranging from casual to fine dining. Pick up some locally caught fresh seafood from the Ecola Seafood Restaurant and Market. The neighborhood grocery store, Mariner Market, is a one-minute drive from the house and easily walkable at .3 miles. Outsource your morning coffee at the charming local Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters- a six-minute walk from the cottage. Outdoor enthusiasts will want to be sure to take advantage of the exceptional hiking and coastal overlooks throughout nearby Ecola State Park.
