We had unclear instructions about trash pickup and location of garbage can. Meredith very responsive to this. Departure time of 11:00 am would be MUCH more civilized than 10:00 am. No fireplace instructions available. Beyond that we loved our stay at Rustic Retreat and will consider returning. Clean and solid. We like it's basic design, family history and location. Guests should know in advance that it's the perfect place for a group that's all on the same sleep schedule..... the bedrooms are not designed to be soundproof, thus everyone pretty much needs to get up and go bed around the same time. The sounds of making morning coffee travel throughout the cabin and is a wakeup call for everyone. :-) —Erik
