If you want to step back in time when going to the beach meant staying in a cabin, welcome to Rustlewood. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of Arch Cape, Rustlewood sits oceanfront with lush greenery and a swing with a sweeping view of the whole beach. It’s a charming three bedroom, 1 bath home with a glassed in front porch perfect for not so sunny days at the beach.

The living room has a wonderful rock fireplace and a swinging couch right in front for warming yourself after a day of adventure on the beach. There is a bedroom with a queen bed on this floor as well as the kitchen, laundry room and bathroom. After climbing the steep stairs you’ll find two bedrooms. Each bedroom has two twin beds and views of the ocean from the window seats.

There’s plenty of room outside for everyone to explore and enjoy. With a great yard for playing and a picnic table and BBQ for dining, this is the perfect escape from the “real world”. This house is a moment out of time, when going to the beach meant relaxing, exploring and leaving your everyday life behind. You can still find that at Rustlewood.

Deposits & Policies

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your reservation, please call our office right away. We have a no refund cancellation policy unless the dates you reserved are re-rented to another guest. If that happens, then your money will be refunded to you in the same form it was received minus the booking fee, cancellation fee of $50.00 and travel insurance if purchased. Because of this policy we highly recommend purchasing Red Sky Travel Insurance with your reservation.

Other Policies: Payment Terms – If your reservation is more than 30 days away, the signed Guest Reservation Contract and your first payment are due within 5 days of receiving the rental contract. Please return the signed rental contract with the first payment. Your final payment is due no later than 30 days before your arrival. If your date of arrival is less than 30 days away, the entire reservation cost and signed Guest Reservation Contract are due within 5 days of receiving your rental contract. Reservations made less than 30 days before arrival may only be paid for by a credit card, money order, or cashier’s check. We also require a credit card to be kept on file with us even if you choose to pay by check.

Guest Requirements – You must be over the age of 25 in order to rent a home from Beachcomber Vacation Homes. This Guest Reservation Contract cannot be transferred to anyone else and subletting the home is prohibited. The guest signing this Guest Reservation Contract will be the responsible party for any intentional or malicious damage to the property for the length of the reservation ( Please see our “Worry Free Damage Waiver” below ). Our homes are in neighborhoods that have full time residents so please be courteous with parking, outside activities, lights and noise.

PETS Only dogs are allowed in our pet friendly homes. There is a fee of $50.00 per- dog per- stay. Please make sure to clean up after your dog. Excessive pet mess may result in extra cleaning charges. If a pet is found in a non pet friendly house without prior notice and consent, then such is a violation of this Guest Reservation Contract and constitutes rounds for immediate termination and eviction. If you have an ADA service animal please let our office know right away so that we can make special arrangements in the event that you have chosen a non-pet friendly home.
