Blessed by seven miles of pristine sandy beach along the forested flank of Neahkahnie Mountain, this town of 600 people is an excellent stop if you’re looking for a quiet place to visit the ocean. You can wander Laneda Avenue enjoying its quaint shops, fine restaurants, and charming homes right down to waving beach grass and the crescent of beach. If you prefer a more natural setting, visit Nehalem Bay State Park south of town, with its 900 acres of trails, wildlife and ocean vistas. For breathtaking views south down the coast, climb Neahkahnie Mountain just north of town.

We very much enjoyed this rental! It was very clean and had everything we needed. I normally get a little squeamish staying at strangers places, but for some reason I felt right at home.
