Welcome to the perfect little beach house! Twin Sands is a cute, comfortably furnished home in the Dory Pointe neighborhood of Pacific City within walking distance to the beach Cape Kiwanda, Pelican Pub, surfing and shops. There are 2 master suites, a gas fireplace, a well equipped kitchen and a cozy living room.

Space Layout:
2 level home. First level entry has living room, kitchen, dining area, garage and back patio. Upstairs has bedroom with queen bed, master bath with tub/shower. 2nd bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with shower.
Neighborhood:
Dory Pointe is a newer, quiet neighborhood of upscale beach homes built consistent with the natural environment. The area is bordered on the east by a greenbelt of shorepine trees that is perfect for exploring with kids or playing with the dog. Dory Pointe is centrally located near the beach just north of Kiwanda Shores and across the street from Shorepine Village. It is very close walking distance to all the Cape Kiwanda activities including surfing, dory boat launching, shopping and restaurants. The walk to the beach is quick through Shorepine village trails, or down the street to Cape Kiwanda State Park. The area is maintained with pride and governed by CCR's.

This home is pet friendly for up to 2 dogs. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night. Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended.
This home is near several other Kiwanda Coastal Properties homes in the Dory Pointe neighborhood of Pacific City.
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.
The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.
Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

I will always stay at properties managed by KCP when I have an opportunity. I have stayed in other locations with a variety of the properties managed by the "top" companies. My experiences have made me feel as if all they care about is the booking and once you are in, you have to deal with the issues.

We LOVED our stay!
We’ve rented similar houses of similar age in the same area, and this one is probably the nicest and best equipped. Super clean, LOVE the fact it had actual tv to watch, not just over the air rabbit ears or the most basic crappy cable channels. Very well stocked with cookware and dishes and utensils for cooking, and they weren’t all worn out like most rentals. Either this place is fairly new to the rental game, or they take great pride in making sure that the guests enjoy their stay. Only a couple of minimal things to be fixed which I left a voicemail for Craig about, but I could literally walk though my house and find identical things that need to be corrected.

We had a fantastic stay at #168 Twin Sands in July 2023. Great communication from the rental company, made it easy, no stress. The property is in a quite neighborhood a short walk to the beach and other amenities in town, groceries, surf shop, restaurant. It was perfect for us, traveling with our 18 year old son, he had his own space to "chill". The space would work for 2 couples or with children. It is well set up with board games, beach toys and 2 Fat bikes! The small BBQ was great for cooking dinner. The kitchen is well equipped, a bit tight if you are cooking elaborate meals. House could use a thorough deep clean, baseboards, dusting corners of the floors.
