Parking at Trailheads

State Parks and Recreation Areas: Many popular hiking destinations along the Oregon Coast are located within state parks and recreation areas. These areas usually have designated parking lots or parking areas for visitors. However, during peak seasons or weekends, these parking lots can fill up quickly. It's advisable to arrive early or consider visiting on weekdays to secure a parking spot.

Trailhead Parking: Some hiking trails along the coast have designated trailhead parking areas. Parking areas have limited space, so arrive early to get a spot, especially during the busy summer season.

Before going hiking along the Oregon Coast, it's important to do some research. Check official websites, park rules, or contact park authorities for the latest parking information and requirements.

Remember to always check trail conditions and weather forecasts before heading out and practice the Leave No Trace principles.
