Before you even walk into this beautiful home just one door down from the beach, you’re struck by the closeness of the ocean just steps away, conjuring up visions of long sunset walks and hours spent cozied up on a blanket reading a favorite book or watching the kids play in the sand.

Crashing waves and the salty sea air usher you in past the home’s garage and utility room through a door leading to the largest of the sleeping areas. With three bedrooms and two full baths, there’s plenty of room to spread out and drop off your luggage, before heading upstairs to gather for some relaxing time at the beach. To the left as you walk in, you’ll find a separate side entrance with plenty of room to drop off your wet beach blankets and sandy shoes as you come back from the beach. Between the garage entrance and the side entrance, you’ll discover a full-sized bathroom in the perfect spot for rinsing off everyone’s sandy toes before wandering into the house after a wonderful day on the sand.

Continue down a short hallway to find another full-sized bathroom and two good-sized bedrooms. The bedroom at the end of the hallway features a queen-sized bed, as well as a futon, perfect for late-night reading or a young child not quite ready to sleep in their own room. Steps away, you’ll find another very large bedroom with a queen-sized bed, comfy chair and plenty of floor space to roll out a yoga mat or set up a travel crib.

Heading back down the hallway, you’ll find the stairs leading up to the main level of the house with another bedroom situated to the right at the base of the stairs. This bedroom also features a queen-sized bed and has a small daybed just right for a kiddo’s midday nap.

Up the stairs and to the left, the home opens up into a living space that is expansive and bright, but somehow cozy at the same time. This space features two sitting areas, a dining space, a full-sized bathroom and a large kitchen with a massive island. Between the two sitting areas, there are enough big comfy couches to accommodate at least a dozen adults, all with west-facing views looking out toward the ocean. This is also where you’ll find the main access point for the deck that runs the full length of the west side of the house, awesome for enjoying the last rays of sunset over a glass of wine.

The dining area seats six, but you’ll be more likely to find your crew gathered at the bar wrapping around the kitchen’s huge island while your resident chefs whip up yummy bites for everyone. With seating for up to eight, it’s a great spot to recant today’s adventures and plan for tomorrow’s. Off the kitchen, you’ll discover another exterior door with its own staircase to ground-level, easy for making a quick getaway with your morning coffee for a sunrise walk. Adjacent to the kitchen is another full-sized bathroom.

Back past the stairway is the home’s spacious master suite. This bedroom features a king-sized bed, love seat and plenty of space to spread out, along with peekaboo ocean views and its own door to the west-facing deck. It also offers a large walk-in closet that contains the entrance to another small full-bathroom.

With a large space for gathering, as well as plenty of cozy bedrooms to retreat to, Sea Dreams is a wonderful home where an extended family or tight-knit group of friends can plan their daily beach excursions and be lulled to sleep by the soothing sounds of the ocean when the day is done.
